Ok, does anyone have a good Travel System to reccomend?

kirakagome

After being let down by the fact that I cannot, puchase the Graco Alano 22 SnugRide Travel System from Amazon.com- as I live in Canada. I am quite unsure which way to go for strollers/travel systems.

My runner-ups include, 2) Graco Spree Travel System, and 3) Evenflo Aura Select, but, I'd like to get the top-rated Graco Snugride Infant Carseat, and I like this carseat, the most out of all of them. How does compatibility work? If I buy the car seat alone, how do I know which Strollers I can use it with?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Answer
We have the Baby Trend Expedition ELX travel system and LOVE it! I also have several friends that have the exact same one and say they love it too. It is a jogging stroller, but you don't have to go jogging. It is great at maneuvering and the car seat is so easy to get in and out of the car.

I am not sure about the buying a different car seat and stroller. :( Sorry...that is why I just went with a travel system.

Does anyone know where I can just buy the car seat and not the travel system?

Answer
My husband and I bought the Graco Safeseat from sears.ca (Sears Canada) Its very similar to the Snugride 32. They also have lots of 'seat only' car seats on their site.

Safeseat: http://www.sears.ca/product/graco-safeseat-8482-infant-car-seat/32271110?ptag=1
Snugride: http://www.sears.ca/product/graco-8482-snugride-infant-car-seat/32271330?ptag=1
Snugride 32: http://www.sears.ca/product/graco-snugride-32-infant-car-seat/32271270?ptag=1

Sears USA (sears.com) also has the Graco Snugride product: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_04988076000P?vName=Baby&cName=Baby+Gear+%26+Travel&sName=Car+Seats

What is the average cost of a baby crib, blankets, and stroller?

fled

Several baby blankets and an average crib and stroller? Thanks.

Answer
I'm in Canada, and actually, Zeller's is having an awesome deal right now.
Travel System (car seat and stroller) only $99, and it's soooo pretty (pink flowers). And some others for like $150. Usually like $200, though (for the travel system).
I got my crib and mattress given to me, but usually $150-$200 is enough for both.
Blankets..depends. Again, here, Zeller's has a pack of 4 for only $10. I also found some really cute ones at the dollar store, $2 each.

Can i bring my Baby from Canada to US?What are the requirements?

Vic

Ok i am US citizen and have gf in canada which get pregnant and we have beautiful baby girl, can i bring my baby to visit her grandma into US,will i be in trouble? And what are the requirements in order to get in here in US, she is 1 week old now.

Answer
Are you going by Air? If so then the baby would require a Passport, it should also be 6 weeks old before it starts flying so that it does have a better immune system.

If you are traveling by Land or Sea then the baby would require the birth certificate, nothing more than that.

You yourself need a Passport, Passport ID card, NEXUS card to go by Air. If going by land or sea then the same or and Enhanced Driver's License.

Anyway you are traveling if the mother is not with you then you will require a Power of Attorney to cross the border without the other parent. She will need one as well to travel without you.

At what age can you use an umbrella stroller instead of the big bulky travel system?

babybugs19

My boy is 11 weeks old and sits up well in his big Graco stroller but it reclines a fair amount. What are your thoughts about the umbrella strollers? I really need something light and small for keeping in the house, getting the other stroller in and out is a pain! Should I get one now or wait? Should I get one with a 5 point harness (do they have those?) or just normal buckles?

Answer
I started using an umbrella stroller at 3 months but I could of started earlier. Zellers (in Canada) sells really nice 5 point harness reclining umbrella stroller for little babies. Its super light and easy to take anywhere.

How do we stop Canadians from illegally coming to America for our superior healthcare?

baby travel systems canada on Buzz Master revient trs vite avec de nouveau Buzz !!!

Christian

Canadians know that their socialized healthcare with death panels suck, so many are illegally trespassing to steal some of our SUPERIOR healthcare.

Why doesn't Canada just adopt a good free market healthcare system like we have. (Before Obamacare ruins it)

Answer
In 2010, the Frazier institute study estimated that approximately 47,000 residents of Canada received non-emergency medical care outside of Canada in the previous year. That includes new immigrants, non-Canadians on work/study permits, Canadians who may have been working overseas, etc. It also considers procedures such as having a baby non-emergency care. Without even considering these, it still represents less than 0.14% of all Canadians and some tiny fraction of all medical procedures performed on Canadians. Further, the study does not say that those people had the procedure in the United States.

Meanwhile, over 6 million Americans travel abroad each year for medical procedures. That is almost 2% of Americans. Unlike the Canadian study this does not include legal residents (only US citizens), recent immigrants, nor Americans who may have been living overseas and returned in the year. These are people who specifically left for the primary purpose of medical care.

In other words, per capita, Americans are well over 20 times more likely to leave the US for an elective procedure as a Canadian is to leave Canada.

Can anyone recommend a good travel system for a newborn?

Due April

Stroller and car seat in the 200-500 dollar range. Available in canada.

Answer
The Graco Quattro system is great. Its easy to use, light, and very well made. I got one 4 years ago, and am now using it for my second child. They sell them at Toys r Us, in store, and online, and also at Sears. Itsz an amazing system. Bout $350.00 Can..You can't use a jogging stroller till baby is 6 months old as they are too hard on their necks.
