I am looking for a travel system for my new baby. However, I am looking for a jogging stroller. ?

J K

There doesn't seem to be that many out there that are around $200.00. Any suggestions, or can anyone suggest one for me to look at. Thanks
I understand the difference, however, there are a few "travel systems" that include a jogging stroller vs., a traditional one. For the women who bought them seperately, how did you now they would work together, I'm trying to find them on line, and they don't have like a if you buy this jogging stroller you should buy this infant car seat. thanks

Answer
I have this jogging stroller and have really like it. It has held up great, I use it everyday, it is easy to maneuver, and my daughter is comfortable in it.

Baby jogging stroller suggestions?

tampopo

I am a first time mom. I like to run and be active, so I want to get a stroller that accommodates newborn/infant/toddler (to save money) that I can jog with.
Do I need a head support for newborn/infant? Or would I have to get a set that goes with a carseat for newborns (will they be supported enough just with a head support?
Pricewise I am looking to spend about $200..

I was looking at "Baby Trend Expedition LX Jogging Stroller - Gracie" at babies r us but wasn't sure if that would be ok for newborn..?

I'm so lost, I need help!!

Answer
Hi and Congratulations on your upcoming birth! I hope I can help you out getting the best stroller for your active lifestyle.

The Baby Trend Expedition LX is a good choice for all you mentioned. It can take a car seat as well when your baby is under six months old.

I do, however, want to emphasize that you should not jog with a baby until they have full head and neck control, which is a minimum of 6, preferably 8 months of age.

With that said, I'd like to suggest another stroller in your price range that is well within your budget: an InStep Safari or Grand Safari.

InStep Safari strollers are compatible with major brands of infant car seats, such as Chicco, Graco and Baby Trend, so you can turn this into a travel system.

The InStep official website has the Safari listed at a suggested retail price of $129.99 and the Grand Safari is $169.99.

Take a look at the link below that gives you a full review and accurate information about each Safari model with all the features you get, photos and testimonials, as well as where to find the best price.

I hope that this helps you in your search. Carefully compare the Safari with the Baby Trend Expedition - both are excellent choices.

How to go jogging in the winter with a baby?

Kckckc

I bought a travel system and of course we don't use the car seat anymore but is it fine to use the regular stroller to go jogging with or do I have to get one of those pricey jogging strollers?
I am running on a flat road with a few curves ( no cars ) Also what are some tips on keeping baby warm? She won't wear a hat so that's not an option thank god she has tons of hair! I have a stroller blanket that can be used for strollers or car seats so I can use that and gloves and the obvious make sure whole body is covered with something but what else can I do for her to make sure she is warm? She is a year old and I don't have a sitter to leave her with while I run. I am on a tight budget so I can't afford the gym or a treadmill and please no rude comments. Also she is 16 months old.

Answer
Layer her clothing and use a weather shield. If you only have a standard single seat stroller you can pick a weather shield up for $10 from major discount department stores.

You might know a weather shield as a rain cover, they're usually made of clear plastic and it will trap heat in the stroller, if you pop a hot water bottle in the seat a 10 minutes before your jog and remove it as you put your daughter in it should stay toasty warm for her.

If you can afford it, a sheepskin liner for the stroller would also be a godsend for keeping her toasty.

How much can I expect to spend in a good jogging stroller, and is it worth it?

I am thinking about getting a jogging stroller for my almost 1 year old.I love to run and think it would be fun to bring her to the park like in the afternoons after school.I was wondering how much they generally run,and would it be worth it?Also, how long can they usually use them for?I have the stroller that came with her travel system, but want one to run with.

I'm looking to buy a Maclaren Volo stroller hopefully this week and was hoping to find a coupon to help the cost. I got an ad for BRU for 10% off strollers but it's only travel systems or jogging strollers. I've looked on Craigslist and Ebay.

Does anyone know of any place online(or otherwise) that have coupons available for use at this time?

Answer
I wonder if different BRU send out different coupons because I just got a coupon book on Friday which had 15% off anything in the store.

Try looking in your local PennySaver people sometimes have coupons in there for free

I am looking for a good jogging stroller. I have a 19 month old son and I have been using the Graco travel system stroller when I go walking jogging. I go almost every morning and bring my son with me. The Graco stroller is not ideal for jogging because it has 4 wheels and I struggle and get tired very easily when I start to jog. Anyone have any suggestions?

Answer
Jogging strollers can get pretty expensive. You can get the Baby Trend Expedition jogging stroller for a decent price. Its not the best jogger out there but great for the price!

Check it out: http://www.stroller-obsession.com/baby-trend-jogging-stroller.html

Looking for a second hand one is a good idea too, I second that!

Good luck!
