graco quattro tour deluxe travel system?

carcar

i've picked this travel system because of the safe-t seat that can sit infants up to 30 pounds and the stroller can fit up to 50 pounds. i just tried it out at the store and compared to the others i really liked it. if you own it or have experience with it i'd like input or suggestions of something equally as nice for cheaper

(i've read reviews on target.com and other sites already)
oh also the cheapest i've found it is at amazon.com for $230 and you don't pay shipping.
is that a good price for this travel system??

Answer
I had a Graco travel system with my last baby. They are nice. I am going to try to go with something less bulky this time if possible just because I have a bad back. In asking about other travel systems, I have gotten great reviews on the Graco quattro tour deluxe. My only suggestion would be that you watch ebay to maybe get a better price! I love ebay! You can get lots of great stuff for a lot cheaper, you just have to watch it! Make sure you read all of the fine print too. I have been buying a lot for the new baby on ebay, but I only buy new or like new on ebay! Good luck.

Target Baby Registry!?

Ree

I've just signed up for my first registry at Target and I have not one single clue where to begin. I've never even held a baby, let alone know what all they need :)

A little help, mommies?
I'm having a baby boy!

Answer
Baby room furniture if you don't have it yet.

Stroller and carseat or travel system

High chair

Booster seat

Breast pump/storage bags/bottles

Boppy

Receiving blankets

Baby swing

Bouncy seat

LOTS of diapers

Baby wipes

Wipe warmer, if you want it

Baby bath tub

Baby essentials - shampoo, lotion

Baby grooming kit with nail clippers and all that stuff

Baby thermometer

Medicine - children's tylenol... better to have, than to have to run out and get it when baby is sick

Desitin for diaper rash

Extra car seat base if you need it

Diaper bag

Baby carrier/sling - the maya wrap ring slings are the best!

changing pad and cover

Bedding set and sheets

Warmer blankets and/or swaddle me wraps

Safety things like for the plug ins when baby starts moving around

Baby gate(s)

Feeding sets

Bibs

Trainer/sippy cups

Spoons

Rocking chair

Diaper genie

Sleep positioner if you plan on using one

Basinnet or pack 'n' play (Check out the Arm's Reach Co-sleeper bassinets, they're wonderful!)

Nightlight

Baby monitor

Activity gym and/or playmat

pacifiers if you plan on using them

*Some good advice I got when I was doing my registry - DON'T register for toys or clothes, that stuff is too cute to pass up, and people are going to buy you more than you need even if you don't put it on your registry.

Good luck!!!!

Does anyone know which travel systems are really nice right now? I'm just wondering if any one has seen any good ones.

Answer
after the report came out about car seats and safety issues... i returned the travel system i had purchased and bought the baby trend flex loc travel system from target.com. i couldn't find it in the store. it was like 200. i think but it got the highest ratings. we've received it and i love it. it also has great reviews online at target.com and the colors are great. the material... you will love. you can just wipe whatever right off.

Do they make side by side double strollers that also work as travel systems?

Samantha S

I have a 3 year old and will be having our second baby in a couple of months. I am looking for a side by side double stroller but I still want the travel system feature for the new baby. Do they make this and if so where is a good place to find one? Babies R Us, Wal-mart, Target etc

Answer
The Peg Perego Aria Twin stroller with the 60/40 split is able to accomodate an infant seat on the 60 side. I have an Aria Twin stroller with 50/50 seat split (I have twins). They only make the 60/40 split now. But it's a great great side by side. I loved mine. It's super light weight, the basket underneath is huge and I never had any problems getting through doors with it.

Check out http://www.albeebaby.com they have strollers at huge discount and quite often free shipping.
