I am looking for a car seat/stroller travel system for girls that is NOT pink & less than $200. What websites or stores might have one?

Note: I don't want tan or beige or light green as they are more of a neutral, I want something like RED, ORANGE, OR RED/BROWN...SOMETHING DIFFERENT.

look on amazon, they have all kinds of baby travel systems. i personally got the graco "tango in the tongo" that is a safari theme. though you can find all kinds of different brands and colors that are usually at a discount. plus you can get free shipping since you will be spending over $50.

I have a Graco Alano (third one) and I love it! The stroller is super easy to fold up:) The pink is so cute too! It is a little tough to keep clean (Oxy Clean makes it look like new again) I got mine on clearance at Target. The travel system was marked down to $80! So, if it's coming out of your pocket check there just in case:) If not, who cares lol! Good luck to you and happy baby shopping! It's so fun isn't it?

Help With Baby Stroller?

I need a little help with choosing a new baby stroller for my first born in June. I've looked around and their are so many options so I wanted to get advice from mothers who are really happy with their stroller.

Here's what I'm looking for- A all-in-one car seat/stroller, I really tend to gravitate towards the more modern looking ones (jogging strollers). My baby is going to be a girl, however Im not looking for a pink stroller or anything really girly, but a pattern with cars and trucks on it won't work either. I would really like to stay in the $200.00 or under range.

well you can't get an all in one with a jogging stroller...the Graco Travel Systems are really nice and have tons of patterns to choose from.

Have you used the evenflo journey elite pink lemonade travel system?

I just got the carseat installed in my car and it seems as though the back sits too high for a newborn baby's head. Have you used this in your vehicle? I am just a worried mother.

Evenflo infant seats can really be hard to install and I usually do not recommend them anyway. They are always being recalled and are not made too well imo. A couple of years ago they did a crash test on an Evenflo Discovery infant seat and on impact the seat flew off of the base and went through the rear window. They have also had recalls on the handles because they break with the baby's in them and there have been several injuries because of that.
If you are able to I would recommend going to Baby's R Us and try some of the car seats out in your car before you buy one. I bought a Graco Snugride 35 for my baby and it installed great into my car. Plus you can leave the handle up in the car which the Evenflo car seats you cannot do. By leaving the handle up in your car you can save a lot of space.
If you do decide to keep the Evenflo infant seat please take it to a car seat tech and have them fit it for you in your car.

Do you think a light pink baby travel system will get too dirty?sk?

I have seen a travel system that I want if I have a girl. It's a graco and it's light pink. Would it get dirty fast because it is light pink? Or should I buy another color?

Do you plan on having any more kids after this one? if so I dont recommend buying pink because if you were to have a boy after, I doubt you would want to use it. I'm having a little girl and went with gender neutral so I can use it again with my next child. How dirty it would get depends. My trunk can get kind of dirty sometimes with everything going in and out (especailly dirt on the stroller wheels) so you might find it would get dirty in there. Its up to you.

I want a travel system for a baby girl under $250?

I want it very bright or busy, it needs to go BAM! I can't find anything I like. I'd prefer a pink or turquiose. Car seat and Stroller! I'm due in April and I can't find anything I like! Help

Have you actually gone to Babies R Us to "test drive" a travel system? You really should. You might get the color you love and then hate the stroller part.... I suggest you start with a travel system you've "test driven" then find the color you like.

Anyone ever had an ultrasound turn out to be wrong?

I had an ultrasound at 18 weeks, (I'm now 29 weeks) and they said it was a girl. I'm thrilled. I wanted another girl.
BUT- Now that I have a closet full of pink, and pink crib set, and a purple carseat/travel system, I'm starting to get doubts. If this turns out to be a boy, I have nothing for him! It doesn't help that EVERY stranger that talks to me always says Oh, your having a boy! When I say no, they can't beleive it. I've been told that my stomach looks like a basketball and I'm carrying very low, so it must be a boy. Other's say that I haven't gained much weight, and I'm looking good so it must be a boy. I'm even craving meats and spicey food and that old wives tale says it's a boy too. The only thing that says girl was the 1 minute discussion during the ultrasound.
Has anyone ever had one be wrong?
I hate to care so much about old wives tales, but I can't seem to help it now!

With my second baby, the Dr said it was a girl for sure. We went out and bought everything pink. Both families bought all pink. We had to have an emergency ultrasound, and we found out exactly one month before HE was born that there was no way we were having a girl. We got a lot of strange looks when we were rushing to all the stores trying to exchange everything for blue.

As for the carrying a basketball, I am now and I just found out I am having a girl. I am 25 weeks and have only gained 4 lbs. The wives tales are not all that correct.
