2mnth infant on plane w. play yard, travel system and bouncy..is this possible?

Corinne E

In dec. my son and I are going to be moving to New York & we're taking a plane just us two and I've been searching the web on what I can do with all of his things : Baby Trend - Nursery Center Playard, Deluxe Havenwood , Graco Quattro Tour Reverse Travel System and Bright Starts - Fun On Safari Bouncer. If it would even be possible to bring them with us. WHAT CAN I DO, WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS AND IF SO HOW WOULD IT ALL PLAY OUT?

Answer
All these items must be shipped, or you can check them as cargo for an exorbitant price.
You don't really mean bring them on board the plane do you? ;-D
OK, now I am through laughing; just picture the other passenger's faces as you board with your complete nursery.

When traveling with a small baby, you will have your hands full. Just take your diaper bag, and the baby.
Buy him a seat, and bring a baby seat certified for use on aircraft. (there will be a sticker on the side certifying this.)

Arrive at the airport in plenty of time so you are not rushed or flustered.
When you get to the gate, advise the gate agent that you are with a small child so you can get priority boarding.

If nursing, do so during takeoff and landing to avoid baby's ear discomfort. Or give him a bottle.
You can take a bottle through security, just take it out and be prepare to have it inspected.
