my grandparents got us a stroller travel system and when we opened it we saw that it was pink. my husband says to keep it its no big deal. they bought it on clearance and the color on the box does not look pink at all so that's why they got it.

If he's wearing a blue hat, most people will assume you have an older girl at home and he's in big-sister's hand-me-down. :) Or that he was a "surprise, it's a boy!" when you were expecting a girl. No one will question his gender, and he won't care. I know lots of little boys who love pink. I wouldn't let it bother me.

any recomends on what type of carseats swings playpens strollers?

Q. I am 37 weeks pregnant and need to know before the baby comes thanks please IM me

Answer
I would NOT recommend any evenflo carseats, although their strollers are fine. We have the evenflo aura elite, and have had it replaced twice....We like the stroller that came with the travel system though.

I WOULD recommend the graco pack N play for a playpen...it has a bassinet insert. We used it until our baby was 15 pounds...before we bothered buying a crib. It was the perfect size, played music, vibrated, and had a changing table insert as well. Ours had been $150, but we got it on clearance at toysrus for $40! Best deal of the entire pregnancy.

We have the fisher price swing with the "sea" motif. Very popular. I personally don't like swings. After having a cesarean, it is difficult to bend over, holding the baby, to situate her in the swing seat.

You really need a bouncer seat. Just pick one that has several reclining positions (at least 2, so the baby can sit up if he has acid reflux), make sure it can vibrate, and make sure it plays soothing nature sounds and music. Don't buy one that bounces out of control every time the baby moves, and make sure you choose one that is very lightweight....you'll be carrying it from room to room, so you don't want anything heavy.

Bottles? Use Dr. Browns.
Diapers? Pampers baby dry.
Formula? Parents' Choice (at walmart) generic imitation of Similac advance milk-based with iron (Only $11 per large can, as opposed to $26 per large can of similac!)
