Answer
We bought a Pram/Car seat/buggy travel system from mother care it is also very chunky so we bought Britax vigour buggy - it is much lighter and easier to get into the boot of the car as the travel system was a bitch to fit in! We looked at the one you like but we didn't wan to spend that much as we had bought alot already and the one we got was on sale but it is a nice light weight one that is compact to go out with.

Best travel system to buy?

Just Me

I've been looking online at travel systems and am having a hard time figuring out which one to buy. I am only 9 weeks but I've seen some pretty good sales on them so I figured if I see one I like I can get it ahead of time. I'm not into any specific patterns and I obviously don't know my baby's gender yet (even though I think it's a boy) so something that comes in both boy and girl colors.

It's also important that I can easily buy an extra base which seems to be more difficult for some brands than others. Advice and maybe some links?

Answer
I have the graco happy day pooh. It's light weight and easy to use. The car seat isn't as heavy as most of the others are - which I think is quite important once you add a 5-20 pound baby. It's gender neutral and quite inexpensive. In general, graco is a good brand to go for.
